A Point at the Line: Yellowasp Sparks a Flame with Point à la Ligne

Point à la Ligne, a French company specializing in candles and party needs, has recently made a partnership with Yellowasp to revamp its old site into a more user-friendly online experience. The new site, developed in-house by Yellowasp and headed by its Project Manager, Matthieu Gaillard, will integrate the latest in Web design and e-commerce by the time it is launched.
The first phase of the Point à la Ligne website revamp started on October 2009. Yellowasp has made great progress in improving the company’s website. In a matter of weeks, the Yellowasp team has designed Flash-based online catalogs for the site. The new site also features a new, fresh-looking site design that highlights brilliant photography, soft color schemes, and easier navigation.
The revamp does not end with merely changing the site’s looks. By next year, Yellowasp aims to implement an e-commerce platform for Point à la Ligne, powered by Magneto E-commerce. The new site will also include a photo gallery, news, decoration and party tips, and many other features that can boost Point à la Ligne in its chosen field of business.

Yellowasp welcomes new Production Manager on board

Rommel Zamora has recently been appointed the new Production Manager of Yellowasp agency. He is armed with 9 years of experience in web production and web development, and has been a programming manager for 6 years in an IT and BPO company in Manila.
Now a part of the Yellowasp team, he is responsible for developing and improving processes & tools. He also supports the Sales and Project Managers in project-scoping and requirements-gathering to ensure accuracy and completion of requirements before production implementation. Rommel will also enhance the agency’s production processes, and at the same time, institutionalize quality in terms of processes, procedures, policies and work behavior. He also works in close collaboration with Isabelle Lemasson, Sales representative in Paris.

FLASH In–house Training for Yellowasp Team

The idea is to provide a tune -up for all employees in Flash programming. Gallium31 Corporation, an IT Services company that provides strategic implementation systems, facilitates the training from February 3rd to March 5th. The course outline starts with an Introduction to Flash Actionscript 2.0 in an Object-oriented environment, Flash as a Development Tool and finishes with Web Development in Actionscript.

International Fashion Academy (IFA) Signs with Yellowasp

International Fashion Academy (IFA) has tied up with web development agency Yellowasp for an integrated web project. New Account Manager Joins Yellowasp France

In an effort to serve client needs better and meet growing customer demands, Isabelle Lemasson was recently absorbed as Account Manager for the France office of Yellowasp. Based in Paris, Isabelle will be responsible for communicating with the client and ensuring compliance on client deliverables and revenue. She is also expected to have full understanding of the company’s capabilities and services in order for her to effectively communicate all offerings to clients.
Isabelle formerly worked in the Makati, Philippines office for eight months where she was able to hone her skills in account management. In a mutual agreement with Yellowasp management, Isabelle decided to go back to her home country and assist the company in expansion activities and in client relationship management. As Isabelle is equipped with the experience and knowledge needed for the task, there is clearly no better person for the job.
During her stint in France, Isabelle will report directly to the account director and will provide regular input on all account activities including regular status and call reports. Isabelle is expected to continue in her success as she adds more skills and experience in an already glowing resume as part of the Yellowasp family.

A new Website for Yellowasp PCB

Yellowasp PCB started in 2003 to fill the gap in the market for production of high quality engineering services for Printed Circuit Board manufacturers. Since then, Yellowasp PCB has gone from strength to strength and is now an ISO certified company, hence, Yellowasp PCBs’ reputation in the industry certainly precedes it.
Currently, we are delighted to welcome in Manila Colin Smithson, our Yellowasp PCB Managing Director for the UK. Colin joined us in a friendly atmosphere of picture shooting with the whole PCB team. In-house Training

February saw the launching of the in-house training for all Yellowasp staff. These training sessions were facilitated by skilled Yellowasp employees who are knowledgeable about certain aspects of Yellowasp’s technical services such as Drupal or Joomla. These mini training sessions are performed everyday in order for the employees to learn a new skill and inspire them to achieve new feats. Upcoming training sessions will include Flash, and many more to come.

More employees require more space. Bearing this in mind Yellowasp is proud to announce that with the New Year, there is also a new bigger office space for the Yellowasp team. Located at the 18th Floor of the Antel Corporate Center in Makati Central Business District, the company opened its new and improved office all ready for the expected growth in the coming years. This has proven to be very successful both for the company and the participant. We are keen to offer opportunities to students wishing to embark on an internship within our company. Guillaume Laborie, a dynamic and high spirited French student from Strasbourg Business School, experienced working in the innovative field of Blog Marketing for six months.
